Some factors that helped the boys make history today were:

1. Headstart training sessions before any other Club/Association even thought of after Covid -19 relaxation

2. Arranging training in Haryana from October 2020 onwards

3. Excellent paper work which helped all these boys are registed with Hockey India as they went for giving trials.

4. Our constant monitoring and motivating, even giving incentives during the Covid to ward off financial difficulties.

Its happy augury Mr Kamleswar, so happy about our boys doing so well at trials, came forward to donate Rs.1,000 to each of the boys. We are also in the process to procure high-end shoes for the boys with the financial support of Mr Kamleswar, remaining coming from our own resources.

Most of the selected boys were given a new carbon stick, each costing about Rs.2000//

Delhi team will play three matches in the pool, and will qualify for the knock-out phase depending upon their performance here.
