OTHL boys retain BOSM Cup 2019 winning all the matches in style

19/09/2019

One Thousand Hockey Legs' team led by Sunil, have successfully retained Birla Institute of Technology and Science Open Sports Meet (BOSM) Cup today in Pilani, Rajasthan. They beat Delhi-based team 1-0 in the final. The winning goal was struck by captain Sunil, a former National Hockey Academy incumbent. OTHL has won the previous edition on its maiden entry. Next year perhaps our boys can look for hattrick.

Like last year, OTHL has sent another team too. The OTHL-2 team led by Arun Mahato failed in the semifinal but went on to win the consolation prize of Bronze. This team drew home team BITS 0-0 in the consolation match but came out colourfully in the tie-break. Young goalie Pardeep did well under the bar in the crucial deciding phase.

GOLDEN OTHL - 1 TEAM: Sunil, Parvez Alam, Mohit Saini, Farman Ansari, Abhinav, Ravinder Singh, Abdul Qadir, Abhinandan,

OTHL - 2 TEAM: Arun Mehto, Md. Altaf, Hifazat Ali, Gagan Yadav, Dhruv Gautam, Sachin Chouhan, Laxman Chaurasia, Pardeep Rao, Dharmender, Veer Singh.
